100202 Basic Manual Inclusive Development HI
A Basic Manual for Inclusive Development
This manual was designed for leaders of organizations of disabled persons, and for other individuals and social organizations that are interested in the issue of inclusive development in Central America.
Our hope is that this manual will be used as a training resource, to help generate a better understanding of the meaning of inclusive development—both its theoretical and practical underpinnings—and how such an approach can be used in different development settings. We also hope it will provide a useful tool for designing and planning lobbying and advocacy actions.
The topic of inclusive development is very much linked to the topic of human rights, and we believe that the best way to effectively comply with the rights of disabled people is through adopting development practices that are guided by an inclusive development approach.
